The Old Ipswichian Club has a very active, thriving sports element and runs a variety of Sporting clubs and activities throughout the year.
We play annual matches v the school offering competitive but friendly rivalry which also provides an opportunity for interaction between the current and former pupils, which is invaluable.
We are always keen to see new members who wish to participate at any level of expertise and these are always very popular events in our calendar.
Our current annual events are cross country, cricket, rounders, rugby and golf. In the Spring we hold our Annual sports festival when we play soccer, hockey, netball, fives and squash, finishing with prize giving over a buffet and drinks. This year's Spring Sports Festival was on the Saturday, 2nd April and on Thursday 7th July we held an OI v Ipswich School Staff Rounders Tournament.
Our next event is the Rugby Sevens on Saturday 17th December and in March next year we have our 2012 Sports Festival. If you would like to participate or come along and spectate you would be very welcome.
